My whole philosophy when formulating products is to create something that performs. However, creating a product that performs is only one aspect. For many, the ingredients used in commonly available products actually upset skin further or lead to long term damage to the skin. This is why I formulate with both performance as well as safety in mind.
Naturally inspired: Salcura formulations are naturally inspired and we use only ingredients that have a proven track record. Some of the key active ingredients in Antiac are German Chamomile, Zinc and Sea Buckthorn. I was fascinated by some of the latest research around German Chamomile (known also a-Bisabolol) as well the mineral Zinc. In a recent study, these ingredients displayed fantastic bacteria killing properties as well as anti-inflammatory capabilities. I truly think from all the research and testing we have done, that these products will make a massive difference to those suffering from acne, oily and congested skin.
Triple Action: I love products with a multi action effect. With the Antiac System I went after three aspect.
1. Anti-inflammatory: reducing the inflammation and redness of skin is a really important aspect to getting those visible results. Even if acne is still present, if the aggravation and redness is significantly reduced then life already looks a lot better.
2. Cleansing: the cleansing ingredients in the Antiac System are powerful yet gentle. This way we can start unblocking the pores and avoid further blockages which is often what leads to the build up of raised bump areas, pustules and spots that become infected and result in whiteheads and red aggressive spots. Antiac is super effective at dealing with blackheads, pustules and spots and thus further avoiding the blocked pores.
3. Anti-bacterial: Antiac contains a whole host of bacterial and infection fighting ingredients that are fantastic at cutting through bacteria and killing of the risk of infection.
